Background
The Story
Born in Handsworth in Birmingham – UK. Having moved to London to go to Drama School, he trained at East 15 Acting School for one year before going onto The Academy of Live and Recorded Arts and then finishing off his theatre training by doing a 2 Year Post Graduate Actors Course at The School of the Science of Acting, now known as The Kogan Academy of Dramatic Arts.
He tirelessly pursued his acting career, before finally moving to Los Angeles in 2010, and recently graduating from New York Film Academy (NYFA) in LA in 2011.
He speaks fluent Punjabi and Italian and is a member of British Actors Equity Union and SAG with visible credits on IMDb.
He has done several short films and TV work in the UK and is particularly interested in extending his talents into more film, television and theater.
He's most passionate about being on stage as that's what he trained in in London and here in Los Angeles. His passion is movies… Kuldip Korotana.

About Kuldip

Hi there, I grew up in Handsworth, Birmingham UK. I did my schooling in Birmingham, and as a teenager my real passion was football (soccer), and I wanted to be a footballer… but being very small back in the day, and skinny, I didn't make it — although I had trials with several football clubs.
I'm not the one to do the typical job or follow tradition. Being the black sheep of the family, and upsetting a lot of people in the process by not following a career in medicine, law or owning a shop… I followed my passion — a career in the arts.
The curiosity of being a performer began when I was doing a mechanical engineering program and saw an amateur dramatic group performing. I knew that was what I wanted to do. So having done my "apprentice" in amateur drama for 5 years, I felt it was time to move to London and fulfil my dream of going to drama school — this took a further 5 years and 3 different drama schools, and going to Moscow to study at GITIS — Moscow Arts Theatre, along the way.
Fast moving forward, I moved to LA in 2010 to do more film and TV work. Along with my love for the arts, football has always been another one of my passions — and I follow Leeds United avidly.
